When you need to present a new idea to an audience, an animated explainer is the way to go.
Energy Focus is in the business of light. There’s a type of light outside the visible spectrum called Ultraviolet C (UVC) that is has effective disinfectant properties.
The topic of disinfecting of course was at the forefront of people’s minds during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I was asked to create a series of short animations to explore and educate on the subject, primarily for internal corporate use. Taking the vibrant green from the company’s branding, and supplementing it with vivid violet to represent the powerful but invisible UVC hue just inside the rainbow, I came up with a bold color palette to tie the series together. The somewhat retro stylistic approach to the animation was chosen to give it a little more visual interest.
