A long-running podcaster was looking to complement his show with a little animation for his YouTube channel.
Greg Rempe, host of the BBQ Central Show, broadcasts two live shows a week and regularly interviews top names in the world of barbecue and grilling.
Live broadcasts can often result in unexpected and memorable moments. One such occasion was a tale told by barbecue entrepreneur and competitive pitmaster Chad Ward from Whiskey Bent BBQ. Greg wanted to immortalize this funny story in cartoon form for his YouTube channel.
Using video and audio from the original broadcast, I created caricatures of both Greg and Chad and illustrated the interaction with cutaways to the story being recounted.
